Welcome to AdventureLand for Kids! This is a place where kids are encouraged to explore and experience what it means to have a faith relationship with Jesus Christ. We want children to know that being a kid is great, while growing into the boy or girl God has designed each one to be. Our focus is to partner with parents who come from varying backgrounds and life experiences, to help their children grow to be well-rounded disciples of Jesus Christ. We want children to not only learn the truth of God, but also to integrate that truth into their daily lives. This is done in a grace-based learning environment where we share with children about the redemptive story which began at creation and continues today in the hearts and minds of those who follow Jesus.

Maranatha Junior Camp

It’s time to think about Junior Camp. Come to our Junior Camp for some really outrageous fun! We have blobs, kayaks, special outdoor worship, swimming, water trampolines, competitive team games, super cabin late night events. The entire week is focused on your relationship God and with others. Our speakers are youth pastors from a four state region and will challenge you in your walk with God. Last year we had over 300 youth from all over come and experience Maranatha camp. The dates are June 28 to July 2. For more information see www.maranathacamp.org

VBS Kick Off Announced

LBC AdventureLand for Kids SonQuest Rainforest VBS Kick Off Event at Children’s Zoo Friday, July 16 5:30-8:30 p.m. Invite your friends to a fun evening of train rides, pony rides, concessions, and viewing all the zoo animals. VBS registration will be available. Admission, train rides, and pony rides are all FREE! Donations to help defray the cost will be accepted. Concessions stand available.

It’s Time to think VBS!

LBC AdventureLand for Kids SonQuest Rainforest VBS is July 19-23 from 9:15 a.m.-12:00 noon for children who will be 4 by July 31 through children entering 6th grade this fall. The cost for this week of singing, Bible lessons, activities, crafts, “barrel train” rides, snacks, and fun is only $10.00 each with a family limit of $30.00 for those who attend Lincoln Berean. All visitors attend for free but must register so we can have their name tag and supplies ready when they arrive!

You may register your children and guests for VBS at the Ministry Spotlight booth located on the 100 level of E wing the weekends of July 3/4, July 10/11 and July 17/18 or at www.lincolnberean.org/webview. Early registration is appreciated. Postcard invitations will be available for you give to your friends.

Many service opportunities are available for you to help make a difference in a child’s life before, during, or after VBS. These opportunities include things such as decorating, greeting, recreation, music, security, crafts, table leaders, baking cookies, helping serve in the kitchen, cutting out supplies, praying, driving the barrel trains, helping in rooms, “buddy” for special needs, helping transport children to VBS so children are not limited as to how many friends they can invite to VBS, and again praying.

VBS Closing Program July 23

LBC AdventureLand for Kids The VBS closing program Friday, July 23 at 7:00 p.m. allows everyone to experience a bit of VBS as the children share with us. Ice cream treats will follow.
We invite all our VBS guests to join us July 24/25 for a weekend of worship lead by children’s ministry. Saturday evening worship service is at 7:00 p.m. Sunday morning worship times are 9:00 and 10:45 a.m.
